Dee, who also advocates for animal welfare, Twittered her fans to raise money for the boxer mix after meeting the canine at All the Same Wild and Tame, an animal shelter in Sherman Oaks.
Dahlia came to All the Same Wild and Tame nearly a year ago and was severely mutilated. Her ears, tail and nose were cut off, lips sliced and toes amputated. Amazingly, workers at the animal shelter said Dahlia is outgoing and trusting.
