NELSON: ‘Ricky Nelson Remembered’ at The BriXton

March 3, 2010

This Thursday, March 4th, 2010

“Mr. 80′s” Julian Douglas welcomes, as The BriXton presents this historic concert “RICKY NELSON REMEMBERED” featuring MATTHEW and GUNNAR NELSON with The Stone Canyon Band.

“Ricky Nelson Remembered” is a unique multi media tribute show featuring the live music of Ricky Nelson’s hit songs (including “Hello Mary Lou“, “Travelin’ Man”, “Garden Party“, “Poor Little Fool“), performed by Ricky’s sons Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, featuring never before seen video footage of the Nelson family. Celebrating the life of America’s original ‘Teen Idol’, this year 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of Ricky Nelson’s passing in a tragic New Year’s Eve plane crash.

Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, the identical twin sons of Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Famer Ricky and grandsons of 50′s TV icons Ozzie & Harriet Nelson, earned them a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the only family in entertainment history with 3 generations of #1 hitmakers with their band NELSON.

On this historic night, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson will be performing the Greatest Hits of NELSON, like “(Can’t Live Without Your) Love & Affection,” “After The Rain,” “More Than Ever,” “Only Time Will Tell,” “(You Got Me) All Shook Up“ and more. It’s night you won’t want to miss. NELSON hits the stage at 9 p.m.

Special Guest: MICHELLE MANGIONE (on at 8 p.m.).

Drink Specials and Pinkies BBQ (“Best Meat You’ll Ever Eat”) in the house, serving up BBQ Pork and Chicken Sandwiches and Mac ‘N Cheese.
