XCritic announced its winners for the 2013 XCritic Awards and gave Romi Rain one of a handful of special mentions and a very nice write-up that lauded her work and warned her competitors: Romi Rain is for real.
“Another newish girl that got snubbed as far as AVN awards are concerned, but we’re certain that fans everywhere recognize her outstanding work,” they wrote. “Her scene with Erik Everhard in Jules Jordan’s Soaking Wet was a true standout and her work in Oil Overload 9 was utterly outstanding. This girl is a force to be reckoned with and we think she’s one to watch for top awards next year.”

AEE signing schedule: Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Thursday, Jan. 16 from 2:30 to 6 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 18 is to be announced.
For this week’s AVN Awards Rain is nominated for Most Promising New Starlet, Best Tease Performance for Soaking Wet (Jules Jordan Video), and Best Group Sex Scene for The Madison’s Mad Mad Circus (Kelly Madison/Juicy).
Romi Rain is also nominated twice for Best New Starlet in the XBIZ Awards, which will be held in two weeks. She will also be a presenter at the show.
