Superhero Cosplay Blogger TANYA TATE Set For WONDERCON Appearance
March 28, 2013The Cosplay Star And Geek Personality Will Be Representing FIRST COMICS NEWS On The ‘How To Get News Coverage’ Panel And Signing At The Geekscape Booth
Noted superhero cosplayer and geek blogger Tanya Tate (www.tanyatate.com) will be making an appearance this weekend at WonderCon (www.comic-con.org/wca). Tate has been recognized on several genre sites for her prolific appearances as a costume player. WonderCon is an annual celebration of comic books and pop culture taking place in Anaheim, California March 29th – 31st. Tate begins her WonderCon weekend by representing FirstComicsNews.com on a panel with other entertainment media specialist titled ‘How To Get News Coverage.’ As a genre blogger and reviewer as well as a publicist, Tate is well versed on both sides of the media.
“I’m honored to be part of this panel,” Tate noted. “It consists of the top people in geek media news. For me to be sitting next to them and taking part of it, is an incredible feeling. I look forward to it.”
‘How To Get News Coverage’ panel will be held in Room 213 on Friday, March 29th at 3:30 p.m.
Tate will also be making a special signing appearance at the Geekscape.net booth on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th. Geekscape is the internet’s premiere geek site about movies, videogames, comics and the culture that thrives from them. There, Tate will be signing her geek-centric merchandise which includes 8x10s and her book, Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume.
“Geekscape is an awesome community of pop culture enthusiasts,” said Tate. “I feel very special to be able to sign at their booth.”
