Gen Padova is back on WHACK! with a new column and again she’s breaking some new ground, telling fans things they might not know (but might need to know). This new one is titled, “Porners Are People Too.”
Think about it. You’re a civilian and you meet a girl and she’s cool and hot and she’s a porn star. Man, what a stud to land a porn star! Your friends will be so impressed. Easy, right? Gen is always the optimist, and while it may not be easy, if you’re willing to try, it can work!
“The thing is, anything is possible to work out if you are willing to make it work,” she writes. “It takes a certain kind of man that can truly handle the extra attention the girl receives working as a performer. There has to be a sense of openness, understanding and lack of insecurity. Which are three really tough qualities to master in a relationship let alone with someone that works in the adult industry.”
There are surprising issues that can come up. Your girlfriend will get recognized In public. She’ll probably make more money than you. And it may be hard to handle when you ask her how her day at work went. Gen suggests not underestimating a porn girl and if you’re really looking for love, know what you’re getting into (if you’re the jealous type, this might not be for you).
