The Self-Proclaimed Hometown Boys Rock Anchorage And Surrounding Alaska Cities
Alaska’s alt-rockers Static Cycle will kick off 2011 with a string of performances in their home state, beginning with The Blue Loon in Fairbanks, Alaska on January 22. The tour will forge ahead to Soldotna, Alaska where the band will hit the stage at Hooligans on January 28 and the next day will appear at The Alibi in Homer, Alaska on January 29. The rockers will end their mini statewide tour on February 4 at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium in the city of Anchorage. Look for tickets on sale at www.staticcycle.com.

The Canadian Indie Rockers Seeks Inspiring Filmmakers To Create And Deliver The Official Music Video For YOU EXIST
Indie rock band Exit 451 with a mesmerizing twist releases their second single “You Exist” from their debut album The Sea Above The Sky and is hosting an open call to all filmmakers for the creation of the track’s official music video. Montreal, Canada’s trio, consisting of brothers Alain (guitars, piano, keyboards, arrangements) and Martin Avon (bass, arrangements) and lyricist/vocalist JP Alepins, is asking for the initial entries to create a short synopsis for the music video treatment and email that idea to by the contest’s February 14, 2011 deadline.
