“Mr. 80′s” Julian Douglas proudly welcomes, as The BriXton – South Bay presents this Friday, December 10th, 80′s Ska Legends FISHBONE!
Legendary in the history of American Ska, Rock Fusion and (so-called) Black Rock, Fishbone started their 30 plus years, long professional career here in Los Angeles’s burgeoning, illustrious Alternative Rock music scene of the early-1980s. Their sound has often been imitated, but never duplicated.
Fishbone will be performing all their greatest hits, “Party At Ground Zero,” “Freddie’s Dead,” “Everyday Sunshine,” “Bonin’ In The Boneyard,” “Sunless Saturday,” “It’s A Wonderful Life (Gonna Have A Good Time),” “Skankin’ To The Beat” and more.
With special guests THE UNTOUCHABLES.
Another one of the legendary men of the mod movement and kings of the ska revolution, The Untouchables took their heights of L.A. into the world spotlight through radio, MTV and even many 80′s movie soundtracks.
The Untouchables will be performing all their greatest hits, “Free Yourself,” “What’s Gone Wrong,” “I Spy For The FBI,” “The General,” “Freak In The Streets,” “Agent OO Soul,” “Steppin’ Stone” and more.
Plus: MAD TAB and STINKY PINKY
“DJ Mr. 80′s” will be spinning those ”80′s Ska Hits” all night long, with trivia, ticket give-a-ways and more!
