Bluebird Films Taps Rising Star PR For Marketing

Bluebird Films announced this week that they are proud to officially hand over the reins of marketing to Rising Star PR, in addition to their publicity responsibilities for the adult production company. The decision comes on the heels of receiving a virtual landslide of AVN nominations for Bluebird’s blockbuster titles, including several for marketing and promotion.
“We’ve developed a comfortable relationship with them over the last year,” explains Bluebird Films’ CEO Nicholas Steele. “Rising Star PR understands the direction we are taking this company. Time and again they have shown they have both the talent and the drive needed to help us grow our brand. They have helped us develop and implement strategies to promote and make us more successful since the very first day.”

Bluebird Films made their mark on the industry last year, taking home the 2010 AVN Award for Best New Video Production Company, then pushed ahead to put out titles garnering a total of 41 nominations for 2011, with blockbuster features Batfxxx and Bonny & Clide earning 30, including Best Online Marketing nods for the www.batfxxx.com and www.bonnyandclide.com sites.
In addition to marketing, Bluebird also picked up nominations for releases, acting, sex scenes and technical achievements, with Best Director selects for Chaplin (Foreign Feature Department S, Mission 1: City of Broken Angels), Ben Dover (Foreign Non-Feature Assylum Seekers) and company CEO Nicholas Steele (Best Director Feature Batfxxx: Dark Night).
