“Mr. 80′s” Julian Douglas welcomes, as The BriXton presents two of Southern California’s hottest new acts, ELVISS SIMMONS & THE MEMPHIS STRUTTERS.
Q: What happens if Elvis Presley and Gene Simmons had a baby?
A: The hottest and newest live comedy/tribute act!
Elviss’ 11 piece backing band, THE MEMPHIS STRUTTERS is composed of a rhythm section, a horn section, and a trio of female backing singers. The music is as much a train wreck as Elviss himself: rockabilly lounge versions of Kiss songs and heavy guitar versions of classic Elvis Presley songs. In a nutshell, it’s a Hunka Hunka Burnin’ Love Gun!
With special guests: NAWGAHYDE, hilarious tribute to Mustache rock at it’s best.
Also, JAY “The Rock ‘N Roll Hypnotist.”
Pinkie’s BBQ in the house, serving up Peanut Butter, Banana and Bacon Sandwiches, plus Tri-Tip, Smoked Bratwurst, and Mac ‘N Cheese. It’s the “Best Meat You’ll Ever Eat!”
