Andrew Blake’s work has decisively influenced the twentieth century through his potent visual imagery and universally recognizable emotion. And recently Blake, whose name is synonymous with eroticism through filmmaking, has been stepping out from behind the camera.
After kicking off 2010 with appearances at A.I. Studios’ events during the 2010 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, the virtuoso modestly thanked his fans for their support and contributions towards his 2010 AVN Award nominations for his work in the categories of Best High End All-Sex Release, Best Tease Performance, Best Videography, Best Solo Sex Scene, Best Editing, and Best Director Night Trips: A Dark Odyssey. For many years, the successful interweaving of his unique personal vision of intimacy with the technical expression of his creativity has appointed Andrew Blake, and his company Studio A Entertainment, international recognition.
The latest honor of “Excellence in Progressive Erotica” was bestowed upon Andrew Blake February 10th at the 8th annual XBIZ Awards, held at the historic Avalon Hollywood venue. After walking down the star-studded red carpet with muse Aria Giovanni and Ryan Keely, Andrew signed autographs and greeted fans and interviewers before hearing his name announced as the winner.
“I’m very surprised and pleased to receive this prestigious award. And I’m especially grateful for this validation of my style as well as the recognition from the creative community,” said Andrew Blake.
The list of upcoming projects that Andrew and Studio A plan to produce for 2010 is aggressive, but then again we wouldn’t expect anything less from such a passionate visionary. Andrew Blake’s search for new talent, as well as his continuing experiments in creative expression, keep drawing him out of the studio into the spot light.
