ELVISS SIMMONS Invades Howl On CityWalk!

February 22, 2010

For “Totally Wayback Wednesdays” 80’s Night This Wednesday, February 24

“Totally Wayback Wednesday’s” 80′s Night and Howl At The Moon in Universal City Walk presents a special industry showcase featuring ELVISS SIMMONS & THE MEMPHIS STRUTTERS.

Question: What happens if Elvis Presley and Gene Simmons had a baby? Answer: The hottest and newest live comedy/tribute act! Elviss’ 11 piece backing band, The Memphis Strutters is composed of a rhythm section, a horn section, and a trio of female backing singers. The music is as much a train wreck as Elviss himself: rockabilly lounge versions of Kiss songs and heavy guitar versions of classic Elvis Presley songs. In a nutshell, it’s a Hunka Hunka Burnin’ Love Gun!

Hosted by “Mr. 80′s” Julian Douglas.

80′s Music and 80′s Prices: $2 Howl Lager Drafts; $3 Svedka Vodka; $3 Tooter Shooters; $5 Jagermeister; $7 Jager Bombs. Plus, Killer Give-A-Ways from Official Sponsors: Dead Clubs Apparel (www.DeadClubs.com) and Artifact Tattoo (www.MySpace.com/ArtifactSCV).

Only a $5 Cover Charge.

Through out the night: The ”Beta Band 2.0,” the freshest live band with dueling baby grand pianos, performing all the hits of the Eighties, everything from Prince and Michael Jackson to INXS and Billy Idol to Bryan Adams and John Cougar to Bon Jovi and Def Leppard.

Plus you never know what killer celebrity musicians will be showing up to jump up and jam with the band man!
