The adult entertainment world lost one of it’s very own. Last night, Lisa Lowry — known to many as Sondra Saxon — passed away following 12 days in a coma caused by a severe asthma attack.

In a statement posted on to her Facebook page by her husband, Tony, he said “Lisa was a lover of life and a shining example of all that was good in this world. We had a birthday party for her in the ICU two days ago. She went peacefully while her mother held one hand and I held the other. Her time on this earth was too short, but that is not for us to decide. Lisa was a shining light in this universe. The candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long. I am sorry that I can not call everyone directly, she would have wanted that but I will attempt to contact as many as I can. Please say a prayer for her and her family and thank you for everything, she cared deeply for you all.”

Memorial services are in the process of being made and will be announced soon.

She was an amazing feature entertainer with a sparkling personality that touched the hearts everyone she met.

Everyone at Private Dancer magazine mourns her passing and condolences go out to her family and friends.

Rest In Peace… You will be missed dearly and forever live in our hearts.

UPDATE: Final services will be held Monday February Third at Grace Fellowship of Augusta. The address is 1725 Sibley Road Augusta, GA 30909. The phone number of the church is (706)736-0784. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church (www.gfofa.com) in the name of Lisa Ruth Wilson Lowry. Please keep Lisa in your thoughts and prayers.
