Also Wraps On ‘Co Ed Confidential’ And Is In AVN Skits

James Bartholet, who’s had a very busy year in the industry, has received an 2010 AVN nomination for his portrayal of Howard Cunningham in Hustler’s “This Ain’t Happy Days XXX’ directed by Axel Braun.

“I want to thank everyone at AVN for the nomination, there are a lot of talented fellow actors I’m nominated with in this category this year. I really enjoyed working on this project and the sequel. Parody are so much fun to do, and with some of these parodies, I worked on the original mainstream production, so it’s a kick that years later I’m doing a porn version of them” stated Bartholet.

Jenna Haze, Gina Lynn and Many More to Sign at 2010 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo

With representation in 51 AVN Award categories, Jules Jordan Video and the companies it distributes — Alexander DeVoe Productions, Mike John Productions, Cruel Media, Erik Everhard Entertainment, Chris Streams Productions, Brazzers, Jennaration X, Vince Vouyer Unleashed and Gina Lynn Productions — makes an astounding showing with over 110 nominations.

Jules Jordan, a 2009 inductee to the X-Rated Critics Organization Film Creators Hall of Fame and owner of Jules Jordan Video, said, “These nominations are some of the best we’ve had yet. We appreciate that the reviewers and judges at AVN recognize our hard work and the quality of our movies.”

The companies lead the corporate pack in categories that include Best Anal Themed Release, Best Anal Themed Series and Best Interracial Release. Freshman video company Jennaration X scored nine nominations including Best New Video Company. Vince Vouyer Unleashed, also a new company to Jordan’s fold, is nominated three times, including Best All Sex Release for “Raylene Returns.” Chris Streams Productions’ “Internal Damnation 3″ and “All Internal 9″ from Cruel Media are up for Best Internal Release. “Jerkoff Material,” from Mike John Productions, is nominated for Best Gonzo Series. Alexander DeVoe Entertainment’s “Black Ass Master 3″ is nommed for Best Ethnic-Themed Release – Black. “Double Ds and Derrieres” from Gina Lynn Productions makes a showing in Best Big Bust Series and Jules Jordan Video’s collaboration with three time AVN Male Performer of the Year Lexington Steele is up for Best Interracial Release with “Lex the Impaler 4.”

One of the most prolific and celebrated directors in the industry, Alexander DeVoe has much to be thankful for this holiday season as he looks back on a very successful and productive year.

DeVoe received a record 18 nominations for AVN’s 2010 AVN Awards, including Best Director Ethnic Video, Best Ethnic Themed Release Black, Best Ethnic Themed Release Latin, Best Ethnic Themed Series Black, Best Ethnic Themed Series Latin, Best Interracial Release, Best Interracial Series, Best New Series, and Best Oral Themed Series . The ceremony will be held at the Pearl Theater in The Palm Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas on January 9th, 2010.
