Flagler, FL — Recently in the news there’s been more clamor about friends who I haven’t heard from in quite a while. Scott Janke, the politician who married a pornstar (www.ainews.com/story/15837/) is evidently up for another Town Manager position.

I received a press release (“Porn Star And Politician – Again” at www.ainews.com/story/18231/) from Klub Kelli which got me thinking. Scott Janke deserves a good job, and finally he’s being seriously considered for one, but Jazella Moore deserves credit too!

In the press release I read that Scott and Jazella’s marriage may be in trouble. The press release talked about Scott and his “estranged wife.” It’s so sad to see the whole ordeal have such an effect on a nice couple to the point that they would have to separate!

Jazella deserves credit for supporting her family any way she can. The character “Jazella Moore” is a character that Anabela Janke plays in adult movies. The real woman is Anabela. She’s the one who was a single mother and now caring for her elderly mother. It’s tough out there, and acting in adult movies was a perfectly legal occupation last time I checked.

Anabela didn’t live the porn lifestyle, either. She worked occasionally to support her family. The mainstream media has tended to objectify her and forget the human being behind the persona. Supporting her triplets and sick mother is understandably a tough job. She deserves a lot of credit and respect. Hopefully her last movie, The Councilman’s Wife, will help to pay their rent.

They call Janke “the number one choice,” and “the most personable,” of the candidates they are considering for Town Manager. There is some commentary on Jazella and their tragedy in Fort Myers Beach that got Scott fired, too.

Hopefully these good people will overcome the bias in the mainstream media and public opinion, and recover to the happy lives they had when first married. More on this as more comes to light. As always, we here all wish both Scott and Jazella the very best!

We left the Myrtle Beach early Sunday morning to drive towards Birmingham, Alabama and get there a couple of days early to just chill out and catch up on a little bit of work. Since finding out about “Name your own price” on Priceline.com, I was confident we would save money and it would be relaxing after having so many weeklong bookings in a row. And it was a great deal, except for if you are unfamiliar with an area in which case you could end up in the ghetto, which is exactly what happened in Birmingham. It’s never good when the Holiday Inn Express looks like a citadel and police sirens are running constantly.

Everyone had the same reaction when we told them about the hotel. “Oh, you were in Birmingham? Like downtown?” Then they would make a facial expression similar to someone smelling sulfur. “Yeah, that’s bad. I’ve lived here my whole life and I would never go there.” Hence, the downside of “Name your own price.” However, the actual club that we performed in that week was in a nicer part of town more like a suburb towards the country.

The club itself was new, only being opened for six months, but already the crowd was highly responsive and lively with Tony on the mic. There was a broad spectrum of customers, but with the weekend came an abundance of couples. During one show, it was almost exclusively women and all of them wanted to come on stage or loose their top like some sort of rite of passage. Unfortunately they have a law stating, “…anyone on stage has to have a license…” So we brought the dancers on stage because they had licenses and we took off the customer’s tops on the side of the stage instead.

As I sat at the promo table after my show, I realized that every waitress walking by had a round butt. At one point one of them came over to me, “Hi. Would you sign my butt?”

“It’s a permanent marker, but sure,” I said and signed her plump rump. A few minutes later another waitress walked up to me. She looked like she was barely eighteen and very timid, but with a big demanding voice she said, “You signed my friend’s butt. I want mine signed, too.”

“Yes ma’am. Now let’s all take a picture.” They both came back the next night.

“I got mine off,” one said and showed me her sparkling clean rear end.

“I didn’t scrub my butt hard enough. I was in a hurry,” said the other and she lifted her skirt to reveal a lightened version of my signature. Silly round butt waitresses.

The club put us in a hotel in a town called Trussville. It looked just like it sounds with perfectly manicured lawns, white picket fences and red doors (think Doc Hollywood). The town had a great running park, however I did not realize how hilly it was until I began to run and it was either easy downhill or bag over my face breathing up hill.

I took a big risk in this small town and decided to have my hair done. I didn’t realize how high maintenance it is to have your hair highlighted. It was such a small town that the hair salon and the barbershop were the same building, but they were divided in the center, and the barber side was sure to inform us that they were not the same business. Tony frightened everyone, as usual, by answering their questions honestly and I got my hair done by the gossiping group of blonds on the other side.

Friday night was great at the club, with everyone being in a great mood, big crowds and high levels of participation. On the way back to the hotel the semi in front of us was almost run off the road by a little SUV, who came to a complete stop in the middle of the fast lane before exiting. He then turned on his left blinker to go right and pulled into Waffle House.

We got back to the hotel room and put the key in the door and the door opened… with the latch on it. For a minute we just looked at each other thinking, “who the hell is in the room?” After listening and figuring out it was no one, we began to think, “now, how the hell did that happen?”  We found a small framed, gay version of MacGuyver at the front desk who calmly claimed, “Happens all the time,” and popped the door open. “There you go,” he said and skipped off.

Saturday night ended and we had to book it to Milwaukee for Tony to host Stripperfest 7 at On The Border the very next night. Thank goodness I am performing there the following week. With show after show, writing, working out, meeting people and driving, it really does feel like the life of a rock star, only our rider is not as good. We only require that our check doesn’t bounce. We don’t ask for white M&M’s or anything like that.

As the elite eight battled it out in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, we were on our way to Sensations in Myrtle Beach, but not for an easy week as you may think. Actually, I have no idea what you are thinking. I do know you are probably tired of hearing about my bookings. Well, as soon as I hit that lottery, I’ll shut up, until then…

We finished our gig at Blush in Pittsburgh, headed back to the hotel, packed (which took forever for some reason this time) and slept for about three hours then woke up, loaded the car, paid $120 for parking (jerks) and then drove for about eleven hours to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

This week the gig was Monday through Saturday so we had to book it. This is one of the major differences between feature dancers and porn stars (real porn stars, not porn girls). A porn star hardly ever does a week-long booking in a club, they couldn’t afford her, she is usually there for two or three days.

So there I was, working for another week. This is not a problem because I love working hard, it just reminds me that I am not seen as the same value of someone who does film, even after all this time. Well, that or maybe it is the way I am presented. I will say, the club was beautiful and the staff and the dancers were great.

The girls there were so beautiful and hot. We found our next A! Entertainment Dancer Of The Week, Sasha, who was a sultry black girl new to dancing. Check out her story at tonybatman.com.

The house mom even arranged an Easter Egg contest on Saturday. I couldn’t have asked for anything better from them. Perhaps more people on a Good Friday would have been good, but God may have been mad. Come on, we all know the same people who go to church on Sunday are the same people who go to clubs on any other day of the week or pay for porn online.

Needless to say, Easter, Mothers Day and Fourth of July have never been record breakers for me so I did not have my head in the clouds on this one. The week ended well, with a good Saturday and an upbeat staff. When there are few customers in a new club, there is a tendency for people to behave in the worst way, however this staff was more like a family and the dancers kept the spirit up which is what is needed to build a successful club.

Along with a house mom who arranged an Easter Egg contest and sewed everything under the sun, they had make-up and hair artists. One of the artist, Michael, finished with the dancers and then began on his own make-up. I walked out of the dressing room and found a beautiful statuesque blond standing by the mirror. You know you’re a good make-up artist, when the ladies have to do a double take and are jealous.

When you are on the road for so long you have a tendency to fall into a pattern. Tony and I have fallen into a pattern… eeewwww! We wake up, have coffee and breakfast, work and then workout, then head to Subway, then we go back to the hotel, work some more then get ready for the club. We go to the club, do our thing and by the time we get back to the hotel room, we’re hungry again.

Late at night, we snack and watch some interesting television. In Myrtle Beach, every night I saw multiple commercials about abstinence. Hey, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but IT DOESN’T WORK! Ironically, about an hour later I saw a commercial for another strip club. For such a small area, there were a lot of strip clubs. Oh, we all know how much those golfers hate women (there is a need for a sarcasm font).

After spending the week before in a great hotel, with an awesome fitness center, it is always tough the next week because there is no clause in my contract that says I need a fitness center, so I get what I get.

This week, I got the beach. It was revitalizing to be out in the sun and feel the wind and see the ocean, very theraputic. I played “dodge the people” while running. I was surprised at how many people were there, but the cool part was they were all in a good mood and that good energy rubbed off on me.

We headed to Subway afterwards, where we were charged a different price for the same thing everyday. On the way there, we ended up on the local news. Good thing it was before we ate and not after, we all know the camera adds ten pounds.

Back in the room we were hanging out digesting when I looked out the window and saw a car stuck in the mud. The guy was just spinning his wheels, literally, and getting deeper and deeper. Tony HATES to get muddy (running on the beach was pushing it) but he looked out the window, saw the guy and began to put his shoes on. All he did was miss his turn and try to roll a little off the road and turn around. Little did he know, Myrtle Beach is all mud, so he sank. The guy had such a look of relief when he saw us.

“You know how to drive a stick?” he asked pointing at me.

“Yes,” I said.

“Okay we’ll push.” Thank goodness, I thought, that looks really muddy. We pushed and pushed and nothing, and they were really rocking the vehicle. (I know that sounds funny.) I looked in the rear view mirror and I saw a cop car pull up.

“Okay, who was driving?” the cop accusingly asked.

“It’s mine. I don’t even know them,” the stranded driver said. “They came to help.” I wanted to smack the cop in the back of the head and say Yea, like YOU should be doing Mr. we pay your salary!

“Well, we can call you a tow truck. You want me to call you a tow truck?”

What’s your cut of that, I pessimistically thought. Now, I know that cops have a job to do like we all do, and they don’t get paid very much, but this guy came off like such an asshole from the very beginning that any negativity that I had towards cops just surfaced.

“It’s not my car. Let me call my dad and see if he has insurance that will cover that,” I heard him say as we walked back to the hotel. We could do no more, so we retired to the room and watched from the window. About thirty minutes later a tow truck showed up and pulled him out.

Upon finishing the Easter week, the springtime was a welcome change. Now we head further south for Sensations in Birmingham, Alabama next week. I am excited about all of the footage we may get there, since the club has recently been in the news with local citizens protesting their presence. Alabama, here we come….again.

There we were back in Pittsburgh again. The Schevelle and Batman Strip Club Tour came full circle with the club Blush, this being the second time to the fine establishment. I have been going there for a couple of years so now I am learning things only locals know, like how they are all thinking about making a Mass Exitus to the south because they were snowed in the whole month of February, or that Pamela’s serves the best breakfast all day, even Obama thinks so. I always knew they were a big sports town, which was evident the first time they figured out I was from Texas. “Ah, you’re not a Cowboys fan, are you?” This came out more like a statement rather than a question. And I continued to learn while I was there, starting off with it was cold…still.

Perhaps this perpetual state of cold explained why everyone proclaimed that this was the last winter they would spend there. There was a sense of “I need to escape,” a general feeling of being pissed off about the weather. “I can’t take another winter like this past February.” I didn’t want to be the one to tell them about global warming and how it actually makes the weather patterns more extreme in the winter each year. I gathered the bitter weather was the reason for an overall bitter attitude that loomed.

The week at Blush always starts off hectic, even if Albert puts you in a plush hotel. It’s hectic because we drive in to town the day the booking starts, which is difficult to do when you work out and dance for twenty minutes straight on stage for multiple shows…in heels. This is how it works: drive in, get checked-in, deal with doorman and bellman that each want a tip, get valet guy away from your car because “We will park it, thank you” (enough with the tips already), get stuff unloaded in room, work on computer for one to two hours, change clothes and workout for hour and a half, take showers, walk to Subway for sandwich, come back to room and work on computer until Kyle calls and picks us up, go to club, do first show, work on computer, do second show, promo, then go back to hotel and pass out. Start day two.

The weather was great on the second day, but because we spent so much time driving, we had a lot to catch up on and spent the whole day inside on the computer. In my southern ignorance of bad weather I thought, “We’ll get another pretty day and then we can walk around.” Obviously, I still have much to learn about Pittsburgh because the weather immediately changed and it dropped to the 40s.

I was backstage before one of my shows and the house dancer before me came off stage. She began to straighten her dollars and then put step into her thong. She looked at me.

“How you doin tonight?” I asked.

“It’s alright. Thank God for regulars, right? You the feature? Where are you from?”

“Texas,” I answered.

“Oh. Figures. You look like you’re from Texas.”

I am never sure how to take this statement so I asked, “What do you mean?”

And she said, “Ya know, you have the blond hair and you smile a lot. You’re all happy and shit. Like they are in the south.” I went out on stage laughing. The house girls can tell you a lot about the area you are in, even if you only talk to them for a few moments.

We crept closer to the Friday from hell. The Thursday before we finished our last show around 1:30-1:45 a.m., slept, then woke up around 9:30 a.m. to get going on some work before heading to the club for a 12:30 show.

After that we pigged out at Pamela’s. This is a popular restaurant that Kyle took us to, which is in the strip district of Pittsburgh and a stop during Obama’s campaign tour. Dawn, our photographing, world traveling waitress took care of us and I ate a Michael Phelps size veggie omelet with about a pound of potatoes. Then it was back to the club for four more shows, which ended the twelve-hour club day, and yes, those heels hurt by the end of that day.

There was a Mary Kay convention going on simultaneously as a Dog Show in the adjoining convention center. There were women with big make-up and big hair and little dogs running around everywhere. I felt like I was back in Texas. I made the mistake of complimenting a woman in the elevator and she tried to sell me about fifteen skincare products before we got to the ninth floor. I all but ran out of the elevator. Then I told one lady that her dog was cute, and she stood very tall and straight and said, “Her name is Pookie, but her registered title is Octavius Riley.” “Ooohhhhh,” I said, making a mental note. “Don’t talk to anyone else in the elevator.”

In closing ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I have to say that Pittsburgh people are brazen. Seriously, they don’t even look across the street before walking. We were sitting at a red light and there was a cab in the lane next to us. The light turned green and we both went forward. Right then a lady began to cross the street at a full speed walk right in the path of the cab, who immediately stopped and let her pass. She also stopped… and began to rip into the cab! How dare he drive during a green light, I mean really, the nerve.

I think there was an overall feeling of ‘get us the hell out of winter and into spring already.’

Hang in there Pittsburgh, I know your springs and summers are green and vibrant. And as for the mad walking woman, maybe a sexual release is in order. We do have an in with the sex toy company the Screaming O.

This week was a booking at a Pony Club in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Since we work the weekends our actual “weekend” ends up being Sunday-Monday. Sunday or Monday (or both) end up being driving days and days to catch up on computer work. However, this Monday I needed to make a deposit and I learned that my “nationwide” bank has no branches within several states of where I was working. Thus, the adventure began.

My branch locator found nothing within a fifty-mile radius. I called the bank, which informed me that, “…some Walgreens have ATM’s and those ATM’s accept deposits.” I called the Walgreens, and after going through two employees and one manager, I learned that “no” they had no idea what I was talking about.

I made a second phone call to the bank and was now speaking with someone who had to repeat everything twice to me because I could not understand him. Love the direction banks have taken. We went through a checklist of nearby major cities. Not only did my bank not have a location in Memphis, they had no locations in the whole state of Tennessee… or Missouri… or Arkansas. They did, however have a location in Illinois. I felt hopeful for the first time in the whole conversation. “Yes, ma’am we have a branch in Chicago.” Obviously the gentleman I was talking to was unfamiliar with geography and I informed him that Chicago was about 400 miles one-way.

Finally, we found a location within 150 miles in a nowhere town out in the middle of Kentucky, which is exactly where I want to be on my “day off.” The road to get there was a lonely two-lane road with semis on it, so I knew there was not a better road to the bank or else the semis would be there. The roads were so narrow one vehicle had to move over to let the other pass. So boys and girls, the moral of the story is banks lie. As soon as I get to a real city, I am changing banks.

The week at Poplar Bluff went better than the bank fiasco, starting with an addition to our radio credits with L.A. Talk Radio’s Inside the Industry Radio with James Bartholet. Our radio count last week was three weekly combined with our visit to the local radio studio 95.5 The Bone. We took over and Tony even became a part of the staff. He worked the reception desk at the front. Doesn’t he look like a greeter? Chris, the D.J., was very cool and ran the interview very smoothly. It’s a trip to listen to the calls that he gets in between air-time.

We were in East Cape the week before and they had about ten restaurants for every one person there, then we went to Poplar Bluff where it was Dairy Queen, Dominoes and Coltons. We settled on Subway and I learned that, although Subway is quick, easy and inexpensive, you can get burned out on it real quick. If I see another Subway after this tour, or hear that ‘five dollar foot long’ song again, I may just explode.

This week the club was about fifteen miles away from the hotel. As we drove to the club, the road got smaller and darker. Suddenly through the trees, the pink neon emerged and there stood The Pony in a building the size of a movie theatre. The club used to be a wildlife museum, which explains the after hours club inside appropriately named The Wild Side. One half of the club is the topless side and then at that magical hour when the government decides you are done drinking, the crowd gets up, walks about thirty feet, pays a cover and enters the all-nude, all-night Wild Side. Maybe it was because we left the club so late, but at night there seemed to be a lot of road kill. I counted about five dead animals on the way back to the hotel on the first night.

In East Cape the week before, we had the Olympic training facility to work out in, but this week it was back to the hotel treadmills and in room leg weights. The hotel was decent, but running on a treadmill gets so mundane so we went to look for another way to work out and found the junior high track. It was so much fun to be on the spongy surface and remember when I was in high school when I used to run hurdles. By the time Friday hits, your body is pretty tired so I was just trying to make it through. I kept playing a game with myself so I wouldn’t quit. “Okay just make it to the curve, then you can stop. Okay now just make it to the other end of the bleachers, then you can stop. Okay just make it to the…” It’s like Yoda says, “There is no try. Only do or do not.”

We have been in small towns for the past few weeks, but next week we will be at Blush in Pittsburgh. I like this gig simply for the fact that Albert puts the features in a sweet hotel and which has an awesome workout facility. There is both good and bad when going from rural to urban. I will be able to find all the creature comforts, but I have to pay $25 per day to park my car at the hotel where Albert is paying for a room. Ah, the cost of a major downtown city.

East Cape Girardeau, MO – I have to admit, when I tell people how much I travel I get two responses. One being, “That must suck.” And the other, “That must be so cool.” Honestly, they’re both true. While I love traveling because I learn so much and meet new people, I don’t have a lot of control over where I travel. People are under the impression that I am in locations like Milan and Paris every week, when in reality the destinations are unrecognizable to most.

Before I left for this gig, I saw my college roommate in New Orleans and she asks, “So where are you going this time?” And I said, “East Cape Girardeau, Illinois.”

Now my friend is very well traveled herself. She was in the Peace Corps and her parents are each doctors who took her abroad with their mission work as she grew up. “Ah, the Midwest, ” she blankly stared at me and said forcing a reassuring smile. “Never heard of it… have fun.”

Everyday is an adventure as we headed on our pilgrimage this week to East Cape (Fear) Girardeau.

Tony Batman is good at a lot of things, but he lacks in the area of remembering names and places. This is how some of our conversations go.

Tony: “I was talking to Derrick the other day and that girl we met, Rebecca?”

Me: “Stephanie.”

Tony: ”Right. So she works for that printing company Flyers R Us.”

Me: “Adco.”

Tony: “Yeah, Adco. So Adco has a special on flyers that we should look at.”

Needless to say, East Cape Girardeau quickly became “Cape Fear” Gibraltar when we arrived and found out that the hotel had no fitness center. However, there was a hospital across the street with a fitness center, which was more like an Olympic training facility. It was such a refreshing change from the monotonous treadmills and in-room leg weights.

The guy who gave us our passes asked us what we were doing in town. After we told him he said, “Oh, one of The Pony’s managers plays on our dodgeball team. We’re having a match tomorrow.”

We had to see this. But unfortunately, we found out we had a radio show at about the same time so we ended up only getting to see the dodgeball teams warm-up.

I was the ‘Buzzer Girl.’ Seeing them play brought back a youthful feeling of nostalgia, only this was serious with the strength of a grown man throwing the ball rather than a twelve-year-old and they were brutal. “Wanna play?” they asked me and Tony.

“Uh, no. I’m fine just pushing the buzzer,” I answered. I could just see me being pelted with balls flying at Mach 4 and then showing up at the radio spot. I would look like that cat from Pepé Le Pew who is all made up and then she falls in the water and comes out looking all ragged and haggard, coughing and weezing.

The radio show came up quick so we drove downtown (about ten blocks) to Real Rock 99.3 to visit with Kirby the DJ who ended up being very cool and accommodating.

Tony documented the whole thing with the camera and sure enough the conversation went to The Bad Girls Club. Kirby pointed at Tony and said, “You look so familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?”

The hour flew by with other guest Hollywood and James. I don’t think I have ever had a radio spot go so smoothly and had so much fun at the same time.

Another thing about Tony is, he hates when his hair gets “too long” so we looked for a barber in town.

In this one horse town, the first barber we found was just sitting in his chair talking to a guy when we walked in. “I’d like to get a haircut,” Tony said.

“You need an appointment, son,” the barber who was doing absolutely nothing answered.

Oh boy, here we go, I thought. “I need an appointment? Well, you would be the first that has ever told me that. I mean, I just need a clean up and I have to get an appointment. You know what, never mind,” and we walked out with Tony murmuring something about stupid appointments.

The next barber shop had a sign out front that looked like something you might see in the background of a 1960’s photo with Dr. King marching with a group of people. We hesitated at first, then went in.

The seats were full. “I’ll get to you, sir. I’d estimate that it will be about forty minutes. Why don’t you and your lady friend have a seat.” We were in 1960.

I went to pick out a magazine. “I don’t reckon we have any ‘girlie’ magazines, ‘cept for that Sports Illustrated there.” The step back in time was astounding.

“So what are you and your lady friend doing in town, because you definitely don’t look like you’re from here?”

Tony explained we were hired to work at The Pony. “Oh yea. I used to go across the bridge over there to get my lottery tickets. Then they started selling ‘em on the Missouri side here, so I don’t go over there no more. What’s your lady friend’s name?” Oh boy. Tony told him.

“You mean like the car?” This is the where I looked at my watch praying that 40 minutes was up.

Finally, it was Tony’s turn. “Say, do I know you from somewhere?” the barber asked. Tony nonchalantly said, “No, I don’t thinks, so I just need a little off the sides.”  Ah, the adventures of doing maintenance while on the road.

The club was indeed across the bridge. As a matter of fact, you cross the bridge, you see the “Welcome to Illinois” sign and then you see the pink neon synonymous with every Pony club.

The thing that stands out about this club was how nice the house girls were. You never know how they are going to take you due to the fact that it is their house, or what other things they have gone through with previous features, so each week is an enigma. These ladies could not have been more supportive as they sat front row every show and cheered.

Part of their appeal was their fresh youthfulness, young women are so free with a smile, and they smiled a lot. They seem to live in the moment and it made them fun and uplifting to be around, that and they were so attractive. I anticipated every show because I could bring them on stage and do whatever I wanted.

One dancer in particular named Keely had the best butt. It was so firm and perfectly round. It fit so well in my hand. I love my job sometimes.

The exploration of East Cape (Fear) Girardeau came to a close when we were in the bank the following day. As we walked I heard a voice “Hey folks, how are you doing today?” He pointed at Tony and asked, “Do I know you from somewhere?”

Next week we are off to make the far and expansive journey to… Poplar Bluff, Missouri, which is about 91 miles from East Cape (Fear) Girardeau. The plan is to go do some dancing, have some fun, and end the week at our final Pony club.

TAMPA, Florida — It was Friday at Déjà Vu Showgirls on an unseasonably cool night in Tampa, Florida. As usual, the Déjà Vu van was parked out front with its strobe lights flashing on the roof making it visible from miles away.

We pulled into the parking lot and were met by the infamous stripper bus as it sat with its plexiglass and pole inside shining (the bus is still prohibited from the streets). Despite all of the controversy and coverage by the national news surrounding the stripper bus, all the action was inside the club this Friday and Saturday because this weekend marked the first ever Screaming O Interactive Club Show.

Tony and I have been doing the Screaming O Contest at expos, conventions, bars and college campuses, but this was the first time that it was to be held in a strip club. It was a merging of the Schevelle and Batman Strip Club Tour with The Screaming O Tour for a novel, sexy two-night event hosted at the innovative Déjà Vu Showgirls in Tampa, Florida.

Part exotic dance show part sexy competition, with a true interactive quality to it, the club was a buzz all week with anticipation of this original event.

When Tony and I arrived at the club, the Déjà Vu showgirls were already practicing their best “O Face” on the mic. “I’m gonna win this contest,” each girl proudly proclaimed as she stepped down from the DJ booth.

We started off the night with an opening show by yours truly, in which I performed my Geisha show. “I like that show, Schevelle. But, uh the beginning kind of freaked me out,” said Ice, general manager for Déjà Vu in Tampa and foremost in marketing this fresh event within strip clubs. It takes guts to be the first to host a new idea, but I have a feeling Ice is not a stranger to chartering new territory.  He could not have been more accommodating, with the personal waitress assigned to us, the large VIP dressing room and the generosity that he showed all the press, which included Kris Kay from Exotic Dancer magazine, Derrick with Debacle Entertainment, Chase Thomas from Desire Magazine and other industry friends that showed up in expectation of what was going to happen.

The first show began with the original Screaming O “Best O Face” contest.

The mixture of showgirls and customers from the audience were behind me on stage sounding like thoroughbreds at a starting gate. Tony, in his typical fashion of ringmaster, began by getting everyone’s attention. He guided the contest with the rare combination of an orchestra conductor and comedian.

As the orgasms rose and fell, the true climax came when Betsy from the audience stood timidly in the center of the stage and wailed with such authenticity the crowd began cheering and clapping before she even finished. Needless to say, she won.

This first contest was just a wetting of the appetite for other contestants who peppered Tony with questions: “When is the next contest?”; “Can I enter that one, too?”; or “I’m gonna win that one.”

In between the shows and contests, the showgirls of Déjà Vu took the stage and worked the floor in their evening gowns. I can say from personal experience that the ladies were beautiful and friendly, which is why this was the hot spot for adult entertainment in Tampa.

All charged up and ready to go, the second show began, “The Rodeo.” Once again Tony commanded the stage with ease and humor. As he helped the first three contestants on to the stage, immediately other volunteers flooded the stage. “Okay, we can only take two more,” Tony proclaimed.

I passed out Screaming O shirts and white cowboy hats to all of the female contestants. “Do I take my dress off and put this shirt on?” they asked.

“Yes, just like that,” I said.

I turned around to get the rest of the hats, and when I turned back, the guy contestants were taking their shirts off. “No, no guys. I just said the girls had to take their… never mind.”

There ended up being seven couples for the Rodeo Contest and we had to turn people away. The competitive bug was loose because every couple that went subsequent to the first had to up the ante. While the couples vacillated in the beginning, every inhibition was gone by the third couple. The audience went from laughter to rolling in their chairs and clapping their hands, hooting and hollering. The winner changed things with a roll reversal where the man was the feminine voice and the woman was the forceful more masculine position. It was clear by the audience applause who the champion was.

The whole weekend was equivalent to that of a real orgasm. It started off as being something that everyone wanted and new they would like, but didn’t know exactly what it was or how it worked. As the anticipation grew, it became fun for everyone who then relaxed and began to have fun with it. And the definite climax came with the Rodeo Contest. Then followed the afterglow and smooth wallowing as we wrapped up the event with the final show of the night, my Vegas style Egyptian Show, complete with headdress piece.

Now the only thing left to do was smoke a cigarette and recall the great feeling and wondering when the next time was going to happen.

Déjà Vu Tampa, all of its staff and showgirls were not only gracious hosts, but also fun to party with and be around all weekend. They welcomed us into their family with ease and made sure every need was addressed. Thank you Ice, staff, showgirls and you too Stripper Bus. Tony and I will always remember our “first time” as we merged the Schevelle and Batman Strip Club Tour with the Screaming O Interactive Club Show at the Déjà Vu in Tampa, Florida.

Ever have that feeling that you get of perpetual insecurity when you are driving and it begins to get dark and the roads get smaller and more desolate and it ends up being just you and one other car, which remains behind you for miles? I always have that feeling when my GPS leads me to an event in a city or town I have never been to. One thing I have learned in my travels is that major places and events can have dirt roads leading to them. Last week Tony and I hosted a Screaming O event in Athens, Georgia with the Girls Gone Wild crew at Sexy Suz Adult Store’s one-year anniversary.

Recently Tony and I have had more gigs in which we host events for the Screaming O, one of the top novelty product companies. And the people in Athens, Georgia really blew it up. Suz, the owner who was indeed “sexy”, had the best staff. Tali, her top seller knew everything about every product in the store. We even blindfolded her and told her what we wanted and she still found it, and THAT is a dedicated employee. Lindsey was our helper for the event and she became our wingman instantly, even setting up the photographers Wesley and Brian to take photographs and film with our video camera. I couldn’t believe the enthusiasm and generosity that they extended towards us, although I could easily get used to it. And it didn’t stop there, Charles, Suz’s husband and marketing strategist who constructed the whole advertising blitz, treated everyone to dinner at a great sushi restaurant. Yes… I could definitely get used to being treated like this at every gig, oh well, eventually we have to go back to the clubs.

Sexy Suz had a live radio remote all day along with the Girls Gone Wild Bus parked out in front and Tony and I inside getting the best Screaming O face from everyone who came in. The diversity of the people that came into the store made me think about all of the faux outrage that some portray against these establishments. With all of the before hand marketing and advertising along with the radio, us and GGW the store had a record day in sales. I guess advertising really does work when it’s done right.

Later we picked up some sexy girls from the Top Dawg bar and crowded onto the Girls Gone Wild bus to head around town. As the gliding billboard bus cruised through campus the attention we received varied from location to location. The campus loved it, especially the frat houses which raised their drinks and waved. Cars honked as we parked at the Varsity, a popular diner spot. In front of the Laundromat and mall, not so much until a father brought his three little boys up because they “… had to see what a Girls Gone Wild girl looked like.” She looks like that same girl you see pretty much everywhere. Ironically, while we were on the GGW bus touring, we saw the GGW crew twice.

After that it was time to get back to the Top Dawg bar for the main event, the Screaming O Show. Tony has made this show famous worldwide, with it appearing both on mainstream television’s The Bad Girls Club and the CBS Morning Show, so everyone was really anticipating the event. We were informed that this was a “liberal” area for Georgia so there wouldn’t be any problems, but I know that no matter how “liberal” the place seems, the police and moral majority are not. So it was only a matter of a few hours before the police made the GGW bus, which was parked in front of Top Dawg, move and then the police just sat in front of the bar. One day they will learn that there are other more urgent real violent things to deal with other than a Screaming O event.

Top Dawg treated us like royalty the whole time we were there, another reason why we love these events.  Before the show we got everyone fired up by throwing Screaming O product, which the company generously sent plenty of, and people went nuts for it. It didn’t matter if it was a vibrator being thrown to a crowd of guys, they acted as if I was throwing them the actual girl who would use that.  When the event started it went so well that the crowd was almost uncontainable, but the bar didn’t disappoint with the security and Bradford and his friends had everything under control. Tony, always being quick with a mic in his hand, knew the perfect way to balance the excitement of the frenzy while he kept things rolling. The bar owner noticed the difference a good emcee makes when it comes to hosting an event. The ringmaster did his thing and the bar also had a record night despite the fact that they were one of seventy bars all crammed in to an area of a few blocks.

With the whirlwind of the Screaming O event over, we are off to our next booking in Southern Pines to the Pure Gold Club. I can’t believe I am saying this, but Athens, Georgia will be a tough act to follow, but I have confidence that this golfing community is the perfect town to do it. Come on Southern Pines, watcha got?!
