Bonnie Rotten kicks off the most important part of the awards season today with the announcement that she has won XCritic’s prestigious Female Performer of the Year award.

“Bonnie entered 2013 with a great deal of buzz and promise,” Chris Thorne, Editor XCritic.com said. “She hit the ground running and never let up. She showed that hard work, enthusiasm and plain old charm goes a long way on the road to success in the adult industry. Later this week the 2014 AVN Awards will be held in Las Vegas, and the XBIZ Awards are a week later. Rotten has 24 nominations between the two of them, including Female Performer of the Year at both. She will also be presenting at the XBIZ Awards.

This week she will be at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo where she will sign at the Evil Angel booth. Below is her booth schedule: on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from noon-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.; on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.; on Friday, Jan. 17 from noon-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.; and on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.

Recently, Rotten announced a directing contract with Girlfriends Films. She will direct six titles for the company this year.

Scoring the highest rating from XCritic.com is not an easy task. In the preface to their review of the latest Jennaration X Studios release, Legs Up Hose Down, the site says, “Our review team does not give out our top rating, The XCritic Pick, lightly. A release has to be so good that we don’t hesitate for you to spend your hard earned money on it. By issuing the movie a perfect 5-star rating, the Jenna Haze-directed release was obviously a worthy recipient of the honor.
