Coming off the successful launch of their fall blockbusters Underworld and Samantha Saint Completely Wicked, one would think that high-flying contract superstars jessica drake and Samantha Saint might be ready for a day off. Wicked Pictures and its acclaimed creative team were rarely out of the spotlight last week. From Hollywood to Florida’s Gold Coast, the production powerhouse earned major accolades while welcoming Asa Akira to its family of exclusive contract stars.

With three-time AVN Best Actress and emerging sexual wellness authority jessica drake taking center stage as host, the X3Sixty Network, InsideAdult.com and AVN presented The Sex Awards October 9th. Described as “the first fan-based awards show to be broadcast on national TV,” the gala event took place at the Avalon in Hollywood.

Celebrated in style at the Tampa Gold Club and hosted by industry luminaries Ron Jeremy and Misty Stone, the star-studded soiree saw the company and its talented collaborators receiving some of the evening’s top honors, including the coveted NightMoves First Choice Award, which recognized the overall quality and excellence of Stormy Daniels’ compelling adult drama Wanderlust.

Kudos continued to come Wicked’s way throughout the evening, with Brad Armstrong, creator of such 2013 epics as Underworld, receiving the Fan Choice Award for Best Director – Non Parody.
