Digital Playground releases the trailer for performer-turned-director Keiran Lee’s feature film debut, Hot Chicks Big Fangs. An erotic homage to films such as From Dusk Till Dawn and Night of the Demons, the vampire thriller is online now and on DVD in stores November 5.

“This is my first feature, and I was a little nervous!” says Lee. “The challenges were stressful, but directing a feature is something I’ve always wanted to do. The fact it’s a Halloween movie with big budget special effects and makeup made it really fun and allowed me to go crazy creatively. I’m thrilled with how the movie turned out and excited to have people see it.”

Written by Lee, Hot Chicks Big Fangs finds three guy friends stranded on an isolated road when their car breaks down Halloween night. A mysterious woman appears out of the dark and lures them back to her home with the promise of shelter and a phone call. What they discover instead is an all-girl Halloween bash in need of male treats to sink their teeth into.

“Keiran has done a phenomenal job with Hot Chicks Big Fangs,” says James, creative director for Digital Playground. “The film is beautiful and exciting and delivers what our fans expect: quality storytelling, big production values, and, of course, scorching sex. Hot Chicks Big Fangs marks the start of a new production deal between Lee and Digital Playground. Breaking Glass Pictures will release director Dan Lantz’s debut feature film Bloodust Zombies on DVD July 5.  The horror-comedy, about a zombie virus outbreak in an office building, features adult film star Alexis Texas in her first mainstream role.

Casting for the parody’s version of the iconic roles made famous by Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasance, Nick Castle and P.J. Soles will take place next month. Smash Pictures is looking for talent to re-create the memorable scenes. Be it the sexually charged playfulness of Annie Brackett and Lynda Van Der Klok or the dominating presence of Myers, Smash Pictures wants to stay true to the feel of the original. There is also a standing invitation to any of the ’78 Halloween cast to cameo in Halloween XXX Porn Parody.

The Halloween XXX Porn Parody boxcover design plays a perfect homage to the movie poster artwork, with its uniquely sexy take. A set of female silhouettes form the unmistakable pumpkin shape, while Michael’s trademark knife is present in the forefront. None of this would have happened if he’d only been invited to the party, so Paul sells his soul to a demon in exchange for the power to take revenge on his former friends.

Initially created as a Halloween prank for five underground movie directors (Doug Sakmann, Matt Pizzolo, Joanna Angel, Kurly Tlapoyawa, Ramzi Abed) to collaborate on short campy-horror films tied together by an interactive DVD-game format of answering slasher movie trivia questions to progress through scenes, the film became an unexpected hit that played across the U.S. theatrically for interactive midnight screenings that mix Rocky Horror-style ‘audience participation’ with pub trivia competition. Although the DVD and live screenings utilize the interactive storytelling style, the VOD version will play as a straight narrative.
