Sexual wellness authority and sex educator jessica drake spoke yesterday at Chapman University as a guest lecturer for the Psychology 340: Human Sexuality class, taught by Assistant Professor David Frederick for the Crean School of Health and Life Sciences.

drake addressed a class of undergraduates on a variety of topics including sexual health, relationships, feminism, the adult industry, tolerance, boundaries and consent. The appearance, which included the legendary Nina Hartley, marked the second time drake has spoken to Dr. Frederick’s class. A recap of her first visit can be read at www.guidetowickedsex.com.

Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-up Ryan Keely (www.ryankeely.com) was recently invited to Wesleyan College in Connecticut to be a guest speaker for their panel “Unlocking Porn,” a lecture about women in pornography and women’s thoughts on pornography. Joining Keely for the discussion was legendary adult film director Candida Royalle and sex educator Jamye Waxman.

The event, put on by the campus magazine Unlocked, featured erotica for the students by the students.  The audience attentively listened as Keely dished about her foray into the adult industry, what a typical day in the life on a porn set consists of, and spoke at length about the evils of piracy and its effects on the entire industry.

“I’m so honored that the students of Wesleyan College value my thoughts and opinions,” said Keely.  “Speaking with the legendary Candida Royalle and being introduced by luminary Jamye Waxman was truly an amazing experience.  I want to thank Unlocked magazine for hosting an unforgettable evening.”

After the lecture, Keely and the guest panel treated the students to a Q&A and Ryan gave away copies of Penthouse Forum, which features her monthly sex column, “The Dirty Details” as well as autographed headshots.
