Young Casey Calvert ascension continues, this week with a new interview by one of the industry’s most respected media outlets, XCritic.

Predicting that she is on her way to becoming as popular in features as she is in gonzo productions, writer Apache Warrior says, “We can just imagine what the future will entail for her.”

They discuss her recent work in features (“Homecoming was my first experience shooting a feature, and I absolutely loved it”) and her frequent anal scenes (“I love anal!”), and naturally Apache dug into her background:

“I was a fetish and art model for a year and half before getting into porn,” Calvert says in the interview. “When I started modeling, I wouldn’t take my clothes off. I would get tied up, show my feet to the camera, things like that, but I wouldn’t get naked. Then, as I got more comfortable, I decided nudity was ok. Then, I started spreading my legs. Then, I started letting people put toys and fingers in me. Through fetish modeling, I discovered that I really love being sexual in front of a camera, and I wanted more. Porn was the way to do that.”
